Mixxx Assignment 9: Sampling

I turned the knobs to see what it would do the sounds. It either made the base go up or the sound. I tried different sounds at one time and tried them all at once. I used my creativity and heard what the knobs do. Also they are 4 sounds at one time. The song is Lost Boys by "Death Grips".

Mixxx Assignment 8: EQ

I changed the low,mid, and high sounds. Some sounds changed in the background of the song. Some was the beat,tremble and rhythm of the song that changed. I used my creativity and tried to make a remix of the song. I changed how it sounded and it sounded pretty good. The song is "Sundriped" by Tom Cruise.

Mixxx Assignment 6: FX

I used my creativity and added effects. I used the effects and saw what they do to the song. I changed the LFD, Depth, and delay. I saw how the song changed when the effects were added.The song is "Get Got" by Death Grips.

• 01:10 Move the balance to the right only

• 00:44 Lower the volume
• 00:32 Raise the volume
• 00:55 Add sound using four (4) hotcues

The first song is "I've Seen Footage" by Death Grips and the second song is "Sundriped" by Tom Cruise. I used my creativity and all the elements I learned. I moved the pitch control slider to the left and right side. I used scratching, balance, volume, hotcues, beat matching, and cross fade. I lowered and raised the volume crossfading between song individually. I used hotcues. 0.57-1.10 is "Sundriped" by Tom Cruise and 1:30 - 1:35 is "I've Seen Footage" by Death Grips.
